Vinya Janine ‘Negre Jove’

Vinya Janine ‘Negre Jove’ bottle

Tasting notes

Winemaker’s notes: Ruby red color with purple hues. Powerful and frank aromas of ripe red fruit and wild berries, with mineral tones in the background. On the palate there is a good balance between body and feeling fresh. Elegant aftertaste of ripe fruit.

Additional information

This young Vinya Janine blend of Ull de Llebre and Merlot has been elaborated in line with sustainable viticulture methods and carries the Integrated Production certificate.
Ull de Llebre (meaning “Eye of the Hare” in the Catalan language) is simply a synonym for Spain’s signature red grape, Tempranillo, which in turn denotes the fact that this variety ripens several weeks earlier than most (Spanish) red grapes. The wines are often characterized by berry, plum, tobacco, vanilla, leather and herbaceous aromas and flavors.
Food pairing: All-round house wine, tapas with stronger flavors.
