Tasting notes

Winemaker’s notes: A very intense color with great blending. Fine aromas that evolve in the glass, of dark fruits, earthiness, minerals, spice and aromatic plants. On the palate it is muscular and robust, with a pronounced acidity that adds freshness and a long finish. The tannins are intense but mature.
Food pairing: Red meat.

Additional information

The Bobal grapes come from over 80 years old vines in Dominio de la Vega’s “La Beata” vineyard. Three vintages (2005-2006-2007) have been blended to capture the essence of La Beata regardless of the year. The 2005 harvest was aged 22 months, 2006 for 12 months and 2007 for 4 months, in new oak casks. This “author’s wine” is truly a beast that will be better released only after a few years of taming it in the cellar.
Limited number of bottles (around 8.500) are produced per each edition of Artemaoyr.
