Tasting notes
Winemaker’s notes: Deep ruby red color. Aromas of red fruit with herbaceous and spicy notes. On the palate it is smooth, with excellent structure and balance, and an elegant, persistent finish.
Food pairing: Red meat and cheese.
Additional information
Aging 12 months in French oak barrels, and 6 months in bottle.
The grapes are from more than 50 years old vines (vinhas velhas).
This wine can be cellared for up to 8 years.
