Tasting notes

Winemaker’s notes: Red garnet color with violet tones. Intense and complex aromas of red (raspberry) and black (cassis) fruits, chocolate, and ink with balsamic sensations. On the palate it is fresh, with a medium intensity, sweet tannins and a red fruit touch.

The grapes are from low-yield vines with an average age of 45 years, aging 4 months in 500 ltr oak barrels.
This wine is Dominio de la Vega’s latest addition to their range of “special selection” products. It is a brilliant expression of the up-and-coming Bobal grape, as the candied fruit is further spiced up by the short pass in oak.
